The next-generation PMAG 30 AR/M4 GEN M3 is a 30-round polymer magazine for AR15/M4 compatible weapons chambered in 5.56×45 NATO / .223 Remington. With an expanded feature set and enhanced compatibility, the GEN M3 incorporates new material technology and manufacturing processes for increased strength, durability, and reliability that exceed rigorous military performance specifications.

While optimized for Colt-spec AR15/M4 platforms, the modified internal and external geometry also allows operation with a variety of additional weapons such as the HK® 416/MR556A1/M27 IAR, British SA-80, FN® SCAR™ MK 16/16S, and more.

Similar to the MOE® PMAG, the GEN M3 features a long-life USGI-spec stainless steel spring for commonality, a four-way anti-tilt follower, and constant-curve internal geometry for reliable feeding, as well as simple tool-less disassembly for easy cleaning.

The PMAG 30 GEN M3 also includes a redesigned bolt catch notch for increased bolt catch clearance, and an over-travel stop on the spine to prevent over-insertion on compatible weapons. Low-profile ribs and aggressive front and rear texture provide positive control in all environments, and a paint pen dot matrix on the bottom panel allows easy marking for identification. The easy-to-disassemble flared floorplate aids extraction and handling and provides improved drop protection, while being slightly slimmer for better compatibility with tight double and triple magazine pouches.
